General Information & Disclaimer

Complementary Medicines “Natural Healing Methods” often incorporate human touch (“the laying on of hands”) to balance energy for the purpose of stress reduction and relaxation. The manipulation of soft tissue promotes blood and lymph circulation, relaxes muscles, restores metabolic balance and relieves pain. By incorporating clinical reasoning a remedial massage treatment plan can aid in the repair of soft tissue, restore functional integrity and return the body to good health.

Natural Healing from the simple touch of a hand is something that has been missing in much of today’s modern medicine. Natural Healing as a complementary therapy provides the soothing comfort of that human touch. This sets Natural Healing apart from the machines and drugs used on our bodies in today’s world, and can help greatly with someone suffering from pain. Thus Natural Healing can be of profound benefit to those undergoing medical procedures through the grounding and balancing of the body’s natural energies in a very human way.

This holistic approach to relaxation and inner peace leads to deep innermost harmony, clarity and strength – the essential preconditions for the body, mind and spirit to heal – which triggers natural healing abilities to improve and maintain health. Natural therapies gently balance life energies to bring health and well being to the recipient.

The very gentleness of the treatments allows the body, mind and spirit time to adjust to the changes taking place from within and it is therefore not uncommon to undergo several treatments in order to achieve optimum benefits.

Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional unless they themselves are licensed to practice in that specific medical field. (This type of skill is not a part of a normal certified Complementary Medicine program).

While Natural Healing can be used entirely on it’s own and can also readily complement other forms of therapy, it is not meant as a substitute for medical, or psychological diagnosis and treatment. It is highly recommended you see a licensed physician (your doctor) or other appropriate licensed health care professionals for any physical or psychological ailment you may have.

The Touch and Energy of Natural Healing is simple, pleasant, natural and totally safe for anyone in reasonable health and can be given along with any conventional or alternative treatment.

Natural Healing Methods are not related to religion. They are relaxation therapies of touch and/or non touch techniques which respect all philosophical and religious paths and can be shared by practitioners of all faiths and beliefs.

The practice of complementary medicine is not an exact science and therefore we can not, and do not, provide any guarantees, implied warranties or assurances of any kind regarding the outcome of the treatment. What might work for one person may not necessarily work for another. We do not claim to cure or prevent any diseases or medical conditions, only to facilitate the environment for change to take place.

By virtue of choosing to undergo an assessment and obtain a treatment, you agree to indemnify us of any and all claims of libel, privacy violation and defamation as well as any liabilities and expenses arising from such claims.

Prior to treatment clients are informed of therapies being a touch healing modality. Therapist hand placement positions are explained to clients in detail. Feel free to ask as many questions as you wish regarding hand placement at this or any time. It is noteworthy to mention though that, in Reiki (NO touch), no contact is made with the body. Instead hands are placed in the energy fields directly above the chakras. In the case of treating children under the age of 18 years, the presence of a parent or adult carer throughout the treatment period is mandatory.
